BioMass

Biomass is a renewable energy source derived from living organisms such as wood, crops, alcohols fuels , hydrogen gas etc. Biomass is conventionally used by direct incineration of forest residues such as dead wood, wood chips, charcoal, waste, landfill gases etc.

This is a renewable energy source because we can always grow more trees, crops and waste will always exist. Biomass is the dominant source of renewable energy which accounts to approximately 12% of the World energy consumption and can further be divided into more specific terminology, with different terms for different end uses : Heating, electricity power generation or transport
